This Bok Choy is an amazing side dish that goes well with most Asian entrees like Spicy Drunken Noodles, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Feel free to add chili flakes to your looking for some spice!

A full head of bok choy is about a foot long – they’re huge! There are green parts and white parts. Bok choy will always be an awesome staple for Chinese cuisine. I ended up using baby bok choy since they are easier to fit in my air fryer, but you can use either.

Do I Need to Preheat My Air Fryer?

Yes, it's generally a good idea to preheat your air fryer before cooking bok choy or any other food. Preheating the air fryer will help ensure that the bok choy cooks evenly and gets crispy on all sides.

To preheat your air fryer, simply set the temperature to the desired cooking temperature and let it run for a few minutes until it reaches the desired temperature. The exact preheating time will vary depending on the model of air fryer you're using, so refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific guidance.

Some air fryers have a preheat setting, which makes the process even easier. Just select the preheat function, set the desired temperature, and let the air fryer do the rest.

By preheating your air fryer, you'll ensure that your bok choy cooks evenly and gets crispy on all sides, making for a delicious and healthy side dish.

Can I Use Parchment Paper in the Air Fryer?

Yes, you can use parchment paper in the air fryer to cook bok choy or other foods. Parchment paper is a great option for preventing food from sticking to the air fryer basket, making cleanup easier and helping to preserve the life of your air fryer basket. When using parchment paper in the air fryer, it's important to make sure that it is cut to the correct size and that it is not overlapping the sides of the basket.
