We get a graphic for a tag team RK-Bro-nament tournament.

Carmella and Zelina Vega make their entrance.

Matt gets a tag for RK-Bro in after and throws it back to “Jimbo Slice.”

Becky Lynch is interviewed backstage.

She says this is the biggest night in Liv Morgan’s life and she’s got a lot of momentum and a crowd fired up behind her, but the kicker is that the real battle isn’t in the ring tonight, it’s gonna be fought inside her head and with the people that want to tear her apart.

You do well enough and they cheer you, you do too well and they turn on you, and this means that Liv is in the perfect position right now, the underdog that’s never gonna reach the stars.

Damian Priest makes his entrance to send us to break.

We get footage from last week of Vincent Kennedy McMahon slapping Austin Theory.

This week, Vince is in his office and calls Theory in again.

Vince asks if he was expecting this and if he’s surprised, and Theory says no and yes, respectively, getting a sour look from the old man.

The Miz makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial we get a recap of last week’s SmackDown.

Miz is in the ring to welcome us to MizTV.

He runs Memphis down for some cheap heat and recounts his confrontation with Edge from last week and says he can’t help but think Edge is a shell of his former self before introducing him as his guest.

Edge comes down and says he meant the compliments he gave last week and Miz questions why he didn’t spear him out of his nine thousand dollar shoes. Edge says his shoes are way cooler and tells him not to mistake his kindness for weakness. The A-Lister says he doesn’t need his kindness now, he needed it when he was a rookie who did everything wrong and got kicked out of the locker room.

The Rated-R Superstar recounts pulling him aside to tell him he has “it” and was gonna be just fine, but in the present day calls him an ass. Post-match, Matt Riddle interviews Alpha Academy but Otis just picks him up and slams him!

Back in Vince’s office, he’s got Austin Theory doing jumping jacks while he’s on the phone. McMahon gets off the phone and says he’s sorry but he’s not having a match tonight and he needs to find some other way to impress him. Austin accepts the challenge and unzips his vest and goes back to the jumping jacks, saying he can do it all day.

Vince tells him to stop and find some other way to impress him, with his brains, and Theory rushes off to figure it out.

Finn Balor makes his entrance to send us to break.
