2021 has been busy thus far for Z SUPPLY, LLC tech developers, with a series of rapid developments and new features rolling out on the company’s proprietaryshopB2Z.comwholesale platform. The business-to-business platform, designed to bridge the gap between traditional wholesale order entry systems to provide a specialized, curated shopping experience for its retail partners, debuted a whole new revamp, from the home page to the navigation interface.
Always striving to make shopB2Z a more streamlined experience, Z SUPPLY’s tech gurus put in place AI-powered algorithms that dynamically populate key category pages in real time, showing customers the most relevant products from the brand’s extensive collection. This super-specialized shopping experience is aimed at making life easier for retail partners so that they can get the product their customers will love.
New functionality has also been added for sharing and editing draft orders between customers and their sales reps, and performance enhancements at the checkout interface can more efficiently handle large orders with multiple deliveries. A new integrated portal for users to search and view their past invoices has also launched. Looking to the future, the development team is also currently working on a new system for customers to easily update and manage payment methods for their orders, and Z SUPPLY expects that to launch by the end of Q3 this year.

These new developments join the other tech innovations at shopB2Z, including the Z SUPPLY Virtual Showroom, where the product is shown on-model, with narration of all details in real time. Here wholesale shoppers can add product to their cart during the viewing, without having to skip a beat.
While trade shows are making a slow comeback after the pandemic, shopB2Z will continue to maximize the time each rep has with their accounts, as well as give buyers more time to shop and plan for their floor sets.
“The digital space is evolving quickly in the fashion and apparel industry,” Fry said. “And while we love seeing our accounts in-person, we know this is the way to reach them all, with as much time and care put into each order, as possible.”
Z SUPPLY continues to innovate and advance the platform, with real-time person-to-person video conferencing, an artificial intelligence component that creates smart reordering systems, and more, all in the pipeline. By adding the real-time video conferencing feature, Z SUPPLY can host multiple people on staff at different locations, with the ability to work and discuss what they are purchasing, or the account can connect and collaborate with a sales rep to complete the order or answer any questions. Z SUPPLY also plans to create buyer merchandise pages that populate by delivery once items are selected, with the capability to manipulate quantity, delivery and colorway.
